I grew up in West Sussex, England, loving art from my earliest memory. Witnessing my mother's portrait painting, I grew fond of the challenge and interest that portrait painting presented. After being encouraged into oil paints at my school in Kent, having being awarded a scholarship, I applied to The Florence Academy of Art to further my classical training in fine arts.

I attended The Florence Academy of Art for three years, graduating from its Drawing and Painting Program in June 2012. After becoming an assistant instructor in my final year, I was thrilled to be awarded Best Figure Painting in my 3rd year.

Since leaving the Academy I have exhibited at private exhibitions including ones hosted at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground and Cottesmore School, as well as at the charity exhibition 'From The Studio Floor' in 2018 and 2019. Currently I spend the majority of my time working on current commissions, as well as expanding and experimenting on my own work. I am available for portrait commissions of adults, teenagers, children, and pets, in both oil paint and charcoal and chalk.

In the Summer of 2016 I was very lucky to to take part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the year, painting Sue Perkins. Each sitter got choose a portrait to take home, and I was touched that Sue picked my painting.  I was announced the winner of Heat 2, and put through to the semi finals, where my portrait was chosen by the sitter, actress Imelda Staunton.

I currently live and paint between New Romney, Kent, and London, always with my terrier, Lupin, in tow.
