Phoebe grew up in West Sussex, England, loving art from her earliest memory. Witnessing her mother's portrait painting, she grew fond of the challenge and interest that portrait painting presented. After being encouraged into oil paints at her school in Kent, having being awarded a scholarship, she applied to The Florence Academy of Art to further her classical training in fine arts.

Phoebe attended The Florence Academy of Art for three years, graduating from its Drawing and Painting Program in June 2012. She became an assistant instructor in her final year as well as being  awarded  Best Figure Painting  in her final year.

Since leaving the Academy she has refined her technique in America and Spain, and worked on portrait commissions in England. She is currently taking commissions for both oil and charcoal portraits of adults, teenagers and children, as well as animal portraits. She has exhibited at private exhibitions hosted at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground and Cottesmore School.

In the Summer of 2016 Phoebe took part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the year, painting Sue Perkins. Each sitter got choose a portrait to take home, and Sue picked Phoebe's painting. After being shortlisted to 3, Phoebe was announced the winner of Heat 2, and put through to the semi finals, where her portrait was chosen by the sitter, actress Imelda Staunton.

Phoebe currently lives and paints in New Romney, Kent, with her terrier, Lupin.
