In the Summer of 2016, Phoebe was chosen to take part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year, in which she painted Sue Perkins. Phoebe was announced the winner of Heat 2, had her painting chosen by Sue, and was put through to the semi finals.

In the Semi Finals, her portrait was chosen by the sitter, actress Imelda Staunton, to take home.

​Phoebe's portrait of Sue Perkins, as well as her self portrait submission, was then part of the Winners Exhibition at The Wallace Collection in March 2017.
